Objectives
To enhance the role of WCPA-South Asia in matters relating to policy and governance in the field of wildlife and protected area management.
Priorities
- To build capacity of park professionals and other stakeholders; and
- Mainstream conservation concerns in development planning at a landscape level.
Future plans for the region
- Contribute to the success of the First Asia Parks Congress; and
- Increase WCPA membership in the region.
