Join the IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation to celebrate 2010, the year declared to be the International Year of Biodiversity by the United Nations.
We will be celebrating biodiversity - all life forms on Earth - through the year and will highlight its crucial importance for our lives.
Most people values the beauty of nature, but it is alarmingly low the level of knowledge about biodiversity, the seriousness of the dangers to which it is exposed and the consequences of loosing it for human wellbeing.
