IUCN Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Conservation Forum (RCF) took place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 23 to 25 July 2019 as part of Union-wide preparation for the IUCN Congress 2020.

Over 200 experts, specialists, senior Government officials, community and youth representatives from 24 countries of Eastern and Southern Africa declared a call for action to secure a future for Nature, People and Future generations in Africa.
The RCF was co-hosted by the Government of South Africa through the Department of Environment Forests and Fisheries and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Regional Office of Eastern and Southern Africa.
