Mobilising markets to capture carbon through forest restoration in Brazil (CIFF)
SUMMARY: The purpose of this project is to transform and scale-up restoration efforts in Brazil, through combining the best practices in conservation and business acumen from commercial plantations. It will help create the enabling conditions to catalyse large-scale, high quality economic forest restoration in Brazil. Targeting private finance, improving the regulatory environment and working to integrate a sustainable forest economy into a low carbon trajectory for Brazil's economic development, will achieve this long-term objective.
