Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA): A Toolkit for National Focal Points and NBSAP Coordinators

This toolkit brings science to life. Fact sheets, checklists and examples introduce users to the practical side of CEPA.

The aim is to heighten the impact of national biodiversity strategies and action plans. Tools and methods include information exchange, dialogue, education and social marketing. The IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (Frits Hesselink, Wendy Goldstein, Peter Paul van Kempen, Tommy Garnett and Jinie Dela) developed the toolkit for the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
