Project tools

The project management systems adopted by IUCN in 2013 is designed to ensure that IUCN (and institutions executing IUCN projects) will develop projects according to proper procedures and standards, will manage environmental and social impacts of projects in a rigorous manner, and will follow guidelines designed to promote performance (accountability, transparency) and improved outcomes. The project management system includes the Project Guidelines & Standards (PG&S) and the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
