To celebrate International Tiger Day, we asked grantees from the Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme (ITHCP) to share camera trap pictures with us.
Camera traps are used to monitor wildlife populations, as they take pictures or record videos whenever their sensors are triggered. And as you can see above, this sometimes leads to some very interesting results!
It is important to monitor tiger populations, in order to inform management decisions and conservation measures.
